As if the first version of this game wasn’t good enough, the good people at TurboNuke have gone the extra mile and gifted the world with CycloManiacs 2. A surprisingly huge step up from CycloManiacs, CycloManiacs 2 will have you playing not for hours, but for days at the least. The game has grown, not just in terms of file size, but, achivements, new cyclists, a weirder story line, a beautiful in game achievement system and a whole lot more of fun.
CycloManiacs 2 follows the same basic rules as the first, race to win the achievements mentioned at the start of each course and unlock the rest the of the game and all the riders as you move on. You can upgrade your skills as always. In CycloManiacs 2, however, you make your way around an amusement park called Ninja World, for some odd reason. Each section of the park offers a different racing experience, but let me warn you, it takes some serious stunts to come out on top.
The art in CycloManiacs 2 has a similar feel to the last one, but is a lot more detailed. The game is still as colorful and vibrant as it was, and offers just as much fun, if not more. The developers have experimented like crazy this time, and have come up with a ton of fun minigames within the game that also unlock stuff. There’s even a map to a secret hidden lair that’s carved onto 4 slices of pizza that you must win in order to play. There’s even a course you must play cycling backwards! And another one is vertical! Phew! There’s so much detail in this game!
The soundtrack once again is an alternative band jamming, groovy and paced right for all the high-flying cycling action. All in all, CycloManiacs 2 is definitely more awesome than the first one, and never ever gets boring. It offers the right mix of a cocky storyline, precise gameplay, beautiful artwork, and challenging achievements. Like the last one, this game also has a separate flash interface of hints, tips, and this time around, secrets too. Happy cycling once again, fellow riders!CycloManiacs 2,
